Shiraz is known as the city of love and poetry, where great poets such as Hafez, Saadi, Bidel and many others were born and grew up. Some Iranians believe that the mild and limited climate of Shiraz makes people fall in love.
In Shiraz, everything is pleasant and livelier even mosques, which are places of worship and usually in other cities of Iran, are decorated with a few meaningful colours such as turquoise and lapis lazuli, in Shiraz they are decorated with the most vivid colours.

Eram Garden
Nasir Al Molk Mosque
Shiraz is home to some of the most exquisite Persian gardens and pavilions from the Safavid and Qajar dynasties. Every time we visit these gardens, we are taken aback by the impressive arches, artwork, and meticulous construction. During your trip, be sure to visit Narenjestan Garden and Eram Garden. Getting lost in Shiraz's alleyways and back lanes is an enjoyable escape in and of itself.
The Nasir al Mulk Mosque, often known as the Pink Mosque, was completed in 12 years during the Qajar dynasty's reign and is today one of Shiraz's most photographed attractions. It's amazing to see the sunrays dance across the colourful mosaics. Make sure you arrive around sunrise for the finest experience.

One of Iran's must-see traditional marketplaces, located just around the corner from the Vakil mosque and bathhouse in the city centre. The Vakil Bazaar contains courtyards, caravanserais, ancient square stores, and every spice, antique, handicraft, and souvenir imaginable.
One of our favourite trends is restoring old homes and repurposing them into boutique hotels. They are appearing all over the place, with Shiraz serving as the focal point. Such as the Oscuru Boutique Hotel, which is a typical traditional property located in the old town and is a must-see boutique hotel.
Maharloo Pink Lake
Given Shiraz's arid environment, fall and spring are the best times to come for optimum weather. Keep in mind that Shiraz is a popular destination for residents celebrating the Persian New Year in March.
